There is no shopping street in the world that can boast such an authentic relationship with music and popular culture quite like Carnaby Street. Music and fashion have simultaneously worked well together ever since John Stephen opened his first boutique in 1958, known for styling famous musicians such as John Lennon, Brian Jones and Mick Jagger. Carnaby was not only recognised as a place where musicians came to shop, Jimi Hendrix, The Who and The Kinks also came to perform in Carnaby clubs including The Roaring Twenties and Bag O’ Nails.

Keep up to date with in-store events and the live music line up on Carnaby.co.uk and Twitter @CarnabyLondon.
